I’m writing this in my International Law and Organizations
course. I’m doing this because I’m exhausted
and if I don’t continuously do something, I’ll fall asleep.
I’ve worked long and late hours for the past few weeks, but
especially this week. It’s midterms at K
and finals at Western, so between my personal academics and demands of my job,
I’m stretched pretty thin. I’ve also
been volunteering for the admissions office at K, which takes up a lot of time.
This week is catch-up week for sleep and a bit on school as
well. I realized I have one week
throughout each quarter at K that I feel like I just laze around—but it’s more
like a mental health week.
I just want to get to sleep.
On the positive side, I’ve been listening to podcasts and my
exercise injury is healing. I can now walk
without a limp and only have a little bit of pain.
I'll conclude with a few podcast quotes:
I'll conclude with a few podcast quotes:
It’s not the broken dreams that break
us—it’s the ones we didn’t dare to dream. (perpetually motivated for Australia 2013)
The only thing that was missing was the ending. --Scott Carrier (in response to my love life, with which I'm at peace)

Mike Birbiglia: I wasn’t going to get
married until I was sure that nothing else good could happen in my life. (hilarious thoughts, and this man did get married)
